Noel F. Cramer Age 71 of Random Lake, WI
Passed away early Tuesday morning (March 20, 2012) at the Woodland Village at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility. He was born December 24, 1940 in Waukesha, WI. a son of Verna (Drydyk) Cramer and the late Lawrence Cramer. He attended St Mary’s School in Random Lake and Random Lake High School. He was a GM Certified Mechanic at Jacoby Chevrolet for many years. On July 6, 1963, he married Susan Maretzke at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan, WI. He owned and operated Sport Sales and Service for 35 years until retirement. Noel enjoyed his post retirement position as a driver for TNT Enterprises. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth and a former member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Batavia where he served as congregation president, elder and usher. Noel loved his family and so enjoyed his two granddaughters, Hailey and Elizabeth. “The apples of his eye”. He was always proud of his boys and their achievements. Everyone knows the focus of his life was racing and engines. His ultimate joy came from being involved with many winning racers and being able to give advice to young rookies. He truly enjoyed every minute of being able to “help” people, with his knowledge and his “soft heart”. He looked forward to spending time with his fellow snowmobilers, racers, hunters, friends and neighbors, always with a story. The people of the Midway Restaurant and Burmesch’s will miss his daily visits.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Sue of Random Lake Two sons: Christopher (Kathleen) Cramer and Scott Cramer all of Random Lake Two Granddaughters: Hailey Ann and Elizabeth Jeanne His mother: Verna Cramer of Beechwood Two sisters: Kathleen (Richard) Shinevar of Port Washington Clarice (Brian) Rusch of Adell One Brother-in-law: Wayne Ustby of Adell One Sister-in-law: Mary (Herb) Brauer of Redwood Falls, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Noel is preceded in death by his father: Lawrence Cramer, his sister: Mary Lou Ustby and his Mother and Father-in-law: Alfred and Jeanne Maretzke.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday Evening (March 25) at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Rev. Nathan Meador, Pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Sheboygan. Friends may call at the CHURCH on Sunday afternoon, March 25 from 2:00 P.M. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Noel’s name for St John Lutheran Church and School or the St. John Tree of Life Retreat Center.
