James Ryan

James D. Ryan Age 79 of Cascade, WI Passed away late Tuesday Morning, (April 17th) at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls where he had been a resident the past four days. James was born on March 30, 1933 in Racine, WI, a son of the late Edward and Evelyn Ekdahl Ryan. He attended Union Grove Schools. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1950 – 1953 serving in the Korean War. On October 30, 1954, he married Audrey Peters at St. Patrick’s Church in Elkhorn, WI. The couple has resided for the last twenty years in Cascade. James worked as a diesel mechanic for Ryder Trucking in West Bend for several years. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family. Survivors include: His loving wife of 57 years: Audrey of Cascade Six children: Sherry York of Hartford Merrie (Mike) Castellion of Shiocton Michael (Sue) Ryan of Sheboygan Falls Kathryn (Mark) Kordosky of West Bend Patricia (Mark) Weber of Adell James Ryan of Cascade Sixteen Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren One sister: Evelyn Thom of Union Grove One sister-in-law: Karen (Robert) Spaulding of Missouri One brother-in-law: Gary Peters of Marshfield Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by one infant brother.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday Afternoon, (April 21st), at 1:30 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Dennis Van Beek, pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church will officiate. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of services. The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612 will conduct military rites following the services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in James name.
