Joan M. Haag, age 80, formerly of W6397 Indian Mound Road, Adell, Wisconsin passed away early Monday morning (Nov. 26) at her home.
She was born on November 8, 1932 in Adell, Wis. a daughter of the late Lester and Margaret Scanlan Weinhold.
She attended Adell Grade School and Waldo High School.
On December 2, 1950 she married Roger K. Haag at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. The couple lived in Adell for 5 years and then moved to the family homestead in Adell.
Joan worked at Sheboygan County Comprehensive Health Care for 18 years retiring in 1988.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Waldo.
She enjoyed cooking, reading, feeding her birds and was a lover of all animals.
Survivors include her husband, Roger of Random Lake; Two sons: Rodney (Sue) Haag of West Bend and James (Susan) Haag of Sheboygan; Two Daughters: Monica (Peter) Turk of Adell and Dawn (Jeff) Morgan of Random Lake; Four Grandchildren: Jeff (Stacy) Bichler of Random Lake, Janel (Todd) Schlenther of Waldo, Evan and Colin Morgan of Random Lake; Five step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Janet (Richard) Maas of Sheboygan and Rita (Kenneth) Stoffregen of Plymouth.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Kordosky.
Private family funeral services will be held at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Renae Dymond, Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church in Waldo will officiate.
Burial will be in the Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in the Town of Sherman.
A Memorial fund is being established in Joan’s name.
