Doris H. Stolper Age 83 Of Random Lake

Passed away late Tuesday evening (June 4, 2013) at Gables on the Pond in Waldo where she had been a resident for the last 5 days. She was born on July 11, 1929 in the Town of Scott, WI, a daughter of the late William and Leona Matthies Hammen. She graduated from Batavia Grade School in 1943. On October 6, 1951 she married George Stolper at St. Stephen’s Church in Batavia. The couple has resided in the Random Lake since their marriage. She was employed at Badger Tag and Label in Random Lake for 19 years retiring in 1991. George preceded her in death on January 14, 1992. She is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Sherman Center and was a member of the choir for many years and also served in the Ladies Guild. She enjoyed solitaire, reading and spending as much loving time as possible with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include: One son: Daniel Stolper of Random Lake One daughter: Lori (Mike) Schipper of Cascade Seven grandchildren: Jennifer (Brian) Ramaker of Illinois Jeffrey Stolper of Oostburg Jenaiya Stolper of Manitowoc Joseph Stolper of Random Lake Angela (Joe) Guttmann of Batavia Aaron Schipper (Fiancé: Carrie Bahr) of Adell Becky (Steve) TeBeest of Oostburg Fifteen great-grandchildren: Adalynne, Roman, Haiden, Landon, Kaleb, Kailey, Wesley, Olivia, Aiden, Alexis, Cole, Grace, Crystal, Dylan and Hudson One brother: Merlin Hammen of Adell One sister-in-law: Junith (Burnell) Dewald of Sheboygan Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by one sister-in-law: Diane Hammen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon (June 8) at 1:00 P.M. at St. John Lutheran Church in Sherman Center. Rev. Randal Schoemann, pastor of the church will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the CHURCH on Saturday morning from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Doris’ name for St. John Lutheran Church and School in Sherman Center.
