Wilbert H. Buhler, age 95 of Cedar Grove (formerly of Cascade), passed away early morning (August 22nd) at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.
He was born on November 1, 1918 in the Town of Sherman, WI, a son of the late Ben and Minnie Preder Buhler.
Wilbert attended Pleasant View School.
On October 16, 1943, he married Marguerite Monahan in Sheboygan. The couple resided in the Town of Sherman until 2011 and recently moved to the Town of Holland. They spent 70 wonderful years of marriage together.
Wilbert worked for Kool Kitchen and then for Ferrellgas for 11 years until retiring in 1983.
He was a member of Hingham Reformed Church.
He enjoyed raising cattle, growing crops and spending time with his loving family.
Survivors include his loving wife: Marguerite of Cascade; three children: David (Karla) Buhler of Sheboygan, John Buhler of Cedar Grove and Robert (Debbie) Buhler of Sherwood; nine grandchildren: Erin and Jamie Buhler all of Sheboygan, Katie (Mike)Witkowski of Plymouth, Sierra, Savannah and Ben Buhler of Sherwood and Sean, Tyler and Nathan Hasenstein all of Sheboygan; one great grandchild: Jaxson Witkowski and one son-in-law: Doug Hasenstein.
He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Margie Hasenstein and two sisters: Mabel Thimmig and Evelyn Wittkopp.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday (August 26th) at 10:30 A.M. at Hingham Reformed Church in Hingham WI. Rev. Kent Vant Hul will officiate. Burial will be in the Hingham Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Monday from 4:00-7:00 P.M. and on Tuesday at CHURCH from 9:30 until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Wilbert’s name for the Hingham Reformed Church and Cedar Grove First Responders.
