Clarence G. Schicker Age 84 formerly of N1713 Hwy 28 Adell, WI
Went to be with his beloved wife, Lillian, early Wednesday Evening, (Dec. 16) at Pine Haven Nursing Home in Sheboygan Falls with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 11, 1925 in New Holstein (Calumet County), WI, a son of the late Mike and Estelle Karls Schicker. He attended Grade School in Milwaukee and Butler. He served in the U.S. Army from July 16,1945 to November 23,1945, serving during World War II and also served in the U.S. Air Force from November 24,1945 to November 23, 1948. He was employed at American Motors Corporation in Milwaukee for several years. On November 19, 1949, he married Lillian E. Heinzen in Milwaukee, WI. The couple resided in Milwaukee for a short time after their marriage and has lived in Batavia since 1950. Clarence was employed at the Kohler Company for 36-1/2 years, retiring in 1987. His wife preceded him in death on March 30th, 2002. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Beechwood. Clarence was a member of the American Legion Triangle B Post #193 in Batavia and served as Sergeant-At-Arms for many years. He received his American Legion Certificate for 55 years of service in 2008. He served as Town Constable for the Town of Scott for 32 years. Clarence was a member of the Batavia Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, bowling, card playing and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include: Two sons: Michael Schicker of Crystal River, Florida Larry (Lynn) Schicker of Plymouth One daughter: Karen (Gary) Hefter of Glenbeulah Five grandchildren: Kelly Hefter (Fiancée: Tony Thede) of Plymouth Rhiannon Schicker of Sheboygan Falls Jody (Lenny) Kissinger of Glenbeulah Travis Hefter of Glenbeulah Kayla Schicker of Plymouth Three Step grandchildren: Tina (Ryan) Pomeroy of Crivitz, WI Kristy Martin of Sheboygan Erik Martin of Plymouth
Six great-grandchildren: Jordan Hefter of Plymouth Reese Justinger of Plymouth Makayla Hefter of Plymouth Dylan Kissinger of Glenbeulah MacKenzie Kissinger of Glenbeulah Gabriel Michael Schicker of Plymouth Three brothers: John Schicker of Sheboygan Mike (Ilene) Schicker of Sheboygan Joe (Pearl) Schicker of Ripon One sister: Loretta (Otto) Willmite of Sheboygan
He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law: Leo and Glendora Schicker and sister-in-law: Lorraine Schicker
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, (Dec. 19) at 6:00 p.m. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. David Schlieter, Pastor of New Horizon United Church of Christ in Farmington will officiate and burial will be in the Beechwood Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 3:00 p.m. on Saturday until the time of services. The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post # 5612 will conduct military rites at the Funeral Home following the services. A memorial fund is being established in Clarence’s name.
