Obituary for Charles J. Eisentraut

Charles J. “Butch” Eisentraut, age 72, of Fredonia, WI, passed away early Monday morning (July 10, 2017) at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.

He was born on January 28, 1945 in Sheboygan, WI and was raised in Boltonville, WI, a son of the late Earl and Dorothy (Hoffmann) Eisentraut.

Butch attended Kewaskum High School.

He enlisted in the United States Army in 1964 and served in Vietnam from 1967-1968. He was honorably discharged in April 1969.

He was the husband of Margaret “Marge” Eisentraut. They shared 52 years of marriage together.

Butch spent his lifetime working in industrial maintenance and farming before retiring in 2007.

Survivors include his loving wife: Margaret of Fredonia; two sons: David (Brenda) Eisentraut of Waldo, Rob (Barb) Eisentraut of Fredonia; and one sister: Linda (Jim) Klug of Plymouth. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Following Butch’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family Graveside Service will be held at Zion United Methodist Cemetery in Batavia. Rev. Hap Itson, Pastor of Zion United Methodist Church in Batavia will officiate. Military Rites will be accorded to the family by the Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Charles name for Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.
