She was born to the late Ignatius and Hedwig Goral on November 9, 1919 in the Town of Eaton, Wisconsin. She graduated from St. Cyril and Methodius school and later joined sisters Joan and Marge at the Motorola Company in Chicago to support the war effort as one of “Rosie’s Riveters.”

On July 10, 1948 Esther married Arnold Louis Servais, whom she met while pursuing a favorite past time, ballroom dancing. After marrying her first love, the couple lived in De Pere for several years before moving to Plymouth in 1960 where they raised three children.

Esther was an active leader in the Plymouth Peppers 4-H club and a member of the Christian Mothers Society at St. John the Baptist Church. She took great pleasure in embroidery and sewing; gardening; canning; and baking. She was an avid traveler, visiting the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, and especially South Padre Island, Texas. She supported the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and a loyal friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by one son, Gary and his special friend Diana Poch, Plymouth; two daughters,
Shirley Ehlert and her husband Dean, Germantown; Lynn Servais and her special friend James
Couillard, Franklin; one grandson Jon Gann; one step granddaughter Jennifer Orth; and several nieces and nephews.
