Obituary for Jason W. Jones

Jason “Red” William Jones, 35, of Plymouth, WI, died April 20, 2017, at a Philadelphia Hospital, as a result of medical complications caused by sleep apnea.

He was born on December 7, 1981 in Lincoln, NE, the son of Kevin W. Jones and Teresa F. (nee Kronmiller) Jones.

He attended and graduated from Kiel High School in 2000.

Jason was a proud brother of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union, working with many companies, most notably W.A. Chester as a highly knowledgeable and skilled heavy machine operator. He also was employed by landscaping companies located in Wisconsin and Michigan.

He was an active member of Revolution Church; he enjoyed gathering with his bible study group and the fellowship of other members. He had a rare and extraordinary gift for humorous storytelling, a passion for boating, watersports, and outdoor adventure. He loved football and played the past two seasons with the Sheboygan County Rebels in the MSFL league (semi-pro league).

Jason was a man of many talents and loved demonstrating his craft by helping others in any way he could. Jason's thirst for knowledge and his passion for life were unparalleled. His compassion and willingness to help his family, friends and community will not be forgotten. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by everyone who had the honor to cross his path.

Jason lives on in love through his parents: Kevin Jones (Significant other: Christine Zimmerman) of Fond du Lac and Teresa Jones of Plymouth; Brother: Travis Jones (Significant other: Stephanie Zellner) of Muskego; Sister: Melanie (Eric) Metzler of Pewaukee; two nieces: Kaylie and Elizabeth Metzler of Pewaukee and his maternal grandmother: Marcella Kronmiller of Indiana, in addition to numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind the love of his life, Nicole Fisher of Delaware. The family loves and appreciates all of his special friends that held vigils of support and prayers, who are too numerous to mention.

Please help us celebrate this extraordinary man and his life by gathering with us for a memorial service which will be held on Saturday (April 29, 2017) at 4:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Justin Fisher, pastor of Revolution Church in Plymouth will officiate. Cremation has taken place.

Visitation will be held on Saturday (April 29) at the Suchon Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, the family would love to contribute all donations to Revolution Church and the Sleep Research Society Foundation.
