Obituary for Kenneth O. 'Jazzy' Meyer Jr.

Kenneth O. “Jazzy” Meyer Jr., age 67, of Dundee/Campbellsport, WI, passed away early Wednesday evening (February 8, 2017) at Life Care Hospital in Pewaukee.
He was born on March 13, 1949, in Plymouth, WI, a son of the late Kenneth Sr. and Arlene (Smith) Meyer.
Jazzy attended Plymouth Grade School and Plymouth High School.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1966-1970, serving in the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart.
On July 30, 1994, he married Jane Kilman at St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Fane. The couple has resided in Dundee since their marriage.
Jazzy drove truck for Gerlach Trucking in Campbellsport for over 10 years before retiring in 2005.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley motorcycle and barbequing.
Jazzy was a member of the Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612.
He is survived by his wife: Jane of Dundee; One daughter: Julie Meyer of Fond du Lac; Three step-children: Jennifer Clouse of Fond du Lac, David (Lori) Allar of Eden and Misty Allar of Fond du Lac; Seven grandchildren: Colton Stocker of Horicon, WI, Morgen Fuller of Fond du Lac, Calvin Moore of Fond du Lac, D’Quaria “DQ” Holmes of Fond du Lac, Ian Spinnato of Fond du Lac, Briell Allar of Eden, Finley Allar of Fond du Lac; Two brothers: George (Pat) Fischer of Stevens Point and John (Laurel) Fischer of Oostburg, WI; One sister: Sandra Burt of Plymouth; One brother-in-law: Howie (Cindy) Kilman of Campbellsport.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; One grandson: Giovanni Clouse; One sister: Sharon Meyer; and One nephew: Tracy Meyer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday Afternoon (February 18, 2017) at 4:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Robert Oberg, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee will officiate. Cremation will take place following the services.
Visitation will be held on Saturday (Feb. 18) at Suchon Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services.
The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612 will conduct Military Rites at the Funeral Home following the services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jazzy’s name.
