Obituary for Robert H. Bein

Robert H. Bein, age 72, of Plymouth, WI, went to be with his Lord after a long struggle with cancer on June 25, 2017.

He was born on April 26, 1945 in Plymouth, WI, a son of the late Harold and Ruth (Preder) Bein.

Bob graduated from Plymouth High School in 1963.

He grew up on the family farm and later took over the family homestead where he grew the farm to over 300 acres. When he was not working the land, he was employed at (Gilson Brothers, Lawn Boy and now known as Toro Company), sold insurance for Rural Insurance and owned and operated Hill and Bein TV Appliance Store in Plymouth for 14 years.

Bob wintered in his home in Fort Meyer, Florida for 8 years and was a proud Packer fan season ticket holder for 25 years.

He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, listening to music, his Sunday car rides, and telling jokes and stories.

Bob was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth and a former member of the Plymouth Lions Club.

He will be remembered for always enjoying life and working hard at everything he did.

Survivors include his three children: Mike (Lisa) Bein of Plymouth, Steve (Brigitte) Bein of Plymouth, Tricia (Josh) Balde of Plymouth; His loving grandchildren: Garrett (Brittany) Winscher of Plymouth, Drew Winscher, Miranda Griffith, Amber Bein, and Tyler Bein all of Plymouth, Luci and Brooke Bein of Plymouth, Jamez, Lukas, Alexis, and Hannah Balde all of Plymouth; and one great-granddaughter: Hazel with one on the way.

Following Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday evening (June 29, 2017) at 7:00 P.M. at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Rev. John Schultz, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.

Visitation will be at the CHURCH on Thursday (June 29) from 4:00 P.M. until the time of Services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Bob’s name.

The family would like to send a special thanks to his friends, Tim, Pat, Byron, and Dave, who checked on him weekly. To his “Chesters” family for caring for him and keeping him well fed, you meant a lot to him. His joy was to play music for you to make your day a little better. Thank you to Dr. Johnson, St. Luke’s Medical Center, Dr. Shamah, the Grafton Cancer Center, and Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for all your care and compassion given to Bob.
