Obituary for James R. Hunnicutt

James R. “Jimmy” Hunnicutt, age 47, of Sheboygan, WI, passed away peacefully Sunday (September 22, 2019) at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center.

He was born on January 24, 1972 in Louisiana, a son of Gary and Linda (Lehto) Hunnicutt.

Jimmy attended schools in Louisiana and Mississippi. When Jimmy was 12 years old he was reborn into baptism at Lakeshore First Baptist Church in Mississippi.

He was a carpenter by trade and would build boats, bulkheads, piers, and docks.

On October 30, 2017, Jimmy met the love of his life Amy Lynne Nezbeth. Together they were synchronized swimmers. In June of 2019, Jimmy proposed to Amy Lynne. The couple was scheduled to get married on October 30, 2020, with Amy’s daughter, Rachael Montemayor, to officiate.

Jimmy enjoyed barbeques, going on walks, driving around in the country, and life itself. Jimmy could make friends with anyone.

In August of 2019, Jimmy rededicated himself to God with Pastor Paul Thyren, Pastor of Grace Bible Church in Adell.

Survivors include his fiancée: Amy Lynne; Son: James Douglas Rahmlow; Mother: Linda; Sister: Heidi Lynn Garcia; Nephew: Julio Garcia; Three nieces: Alexis Hunnicutt, Olivia Baaieyy, Destiny Penguy; and Nine grandchildren.

Jimmy was also survived by many aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Abigail Balzio.

Following James’ wishes, cremation has taken place and private services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jimmy’s name.
