Obituary for James L. Ninnemann

James Lee Ninnemann, age 76, of Plymouth, WI, passed away early Wednesday morning (September 20, 2017).

He was born on March 13, 1941 in Sheboygan, WI, a son of the late Rex and Monica (Reilly) Ninnemann.

Jim attended Parnell Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1959.

On February 8, 1964 he married Gloria Minch at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Parnell.

He was employed by the Kohler Company for 39 years before retiring in 2003.

Jim was a former member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth.

He enjoyed playing softball in Plymouth for many years and golfing after his retirement in 2003. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, always cheering on the home team. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time at the local bars conversing with friends.

Survivors include his wife: Gloria of Plymouth; Two daughters: Michele (John) Van de Pas of Plymouth, Brigette (Mark) Sessler of Sheboygan; Son: Joel (Debbi) Ninnemann of Greenbush; Six grandchildren: Ben, Sydney, Andrew, Nathan, Kinsey, Cady; Great-grandchildren: Nataliya and Torianna; Brother: Gerre (Marie) Ninnemann of Ashwaubenon; Sister: Jill Flunker of Parnell; and Brother-in-law: Gordon Minch of Ripon.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; Father and mother-in-law: Jake and Carola Minch; Brothers-in-law: Gerald (June) Minch, Wally Flunker; and Sister-in-law: Hazel Minch.

A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Saturday (September 23, 2017) starting at 1:00 P.M. at Cozy Bar in Plymouth.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jim’s name.
