Obituary for Lisa B. Dillon

Lisa Bea Dillon, age 56, of Plymouth, passed away after a long and courageous battle at her home on Friday (December 1, 2017).

She was born in Whitehall, WI on July 14, 1961, daughter of the late Robert M. and Beatrice F. (Engevold) Hamilton.

Lisa grew up in Baraboo, attending local grade schools, and graduated from Baraboo High School in 1979.

On October 16, 1993, she married Gregory Dillon in St. Albans, West Virginia. In 1999, Lisa and Greg moved to the Sheboygan area to help launch the Sheboygan Sun, where Lisa worked as the Production Manager until 2015.

Lisa was an avid reader and also enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, gardening, and spending time with her loving family.

Survivors include: Her husband: Greg of Plymouth; Four children: Brenna (Chad) Lutter of Reedsburg, WI, Mike Moriarty, Ellie Moriarty, and Trisha (Richard) Bries all of Baraboo; Six grandchildren: Annabele, Brenna, Lola, Molly, Gunner, Evalyn, and one more on the way.
She is further survived by: Four brothers: Scott (Terri) Hamilton of Dickeyville, WI, Steve (Nancy) Hamilton, Craig (Deb) Hamilton, and Matt (Leslie) Hamilton all of Baraboo; Two sisters: Nancy (Steve) Porter of Baraboo and Sara (Steve) Steinhorst of Wisconsin Dells; Father and mother-in-law: Jim and Bettie Dillon of Scott Depot, WV; Sister-in-law: Bonnie (Denny) Miller of Coolville, OH; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Following Lisa’s wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held in Baraboo at a later date.
